My great grandparents, the lyons, and then my grandparents, the Niedners owned the camp in Three Lakes. I love hearing my mom and aunt talk about the experiences they had at the camp!

I certainly remember Dusty Rhoads from the Lyons-owned era. I had a slight crush on Dusty~~ he was very handsome and kind. RIP Dusty.

I just called Becky Hanna...we believe Dusty's full name was Allan Rhoades, and that he had a sister, but we don't know if she would still be alive. We'll all have to sing "Rise up on flame" and light our candles in memory of dear Dusty.

Happy Holiday to one and all.

Just wanted to let everyone know that on December 5, 2008 Dusty Rhoads died. Dusty was with the Camp when the Lyons owned Minne Wonka Lodge. He was 95 years old and still lived in the house across from camp by sunset beach.

He will be missed by one and all.

My mom was the cook for a year, and I came as the camper. I stayed all summer. I have some pix of feeding the chipmunks outside the lodge. Wow! I was just researching whether Minne Wonka is still around and came across this web site. I had no idea there'd been a reunion; would love to attend if there's another in the future. I attended from 1973-76 and treasure the memory of those summers. It's so nice to see so many familiar names!
